Your knowledge of the age of the audience will help you select a subject of interest to them and will help you determine your manner of delivery most conducive to winning its attention and interest. By knowing to what groups an audience belongs, you can more or less determine your selection and organization of your subject and the style of speaking you wish to adopt.
